Know the Miramar homebefore you buy it.
Miramar splits between fast-growing West Miramar new-builds and the established east side — and the right read changes completely between them. As a brokerage with in-house licensed trades, we tell you what each home actually needs, and we can do the work.
About Miramar real estate
Miramar is one of Broward's fastest-growing cities, and it's really two markets. West Miramar — Monarch Lakes, Riviera Isles, Sunset Lakes — is newer, gated, and HOA-governed, where reserves and builder-era roofs matter. The older east side offers more value and character but more deferred maintenance to read carefully.
Because Academia is a brokerage with an in-house construction arm, we underwrite both the same way a builder would: roof age, impact windows, A/C, insurability, and the real cost to bring a home current. That turns 'I think it's fine' into a number you can put in your offer.
Buy or sell, you get a licensed Academia broker and the trades that stand behind the advice — under one roof.
West Miramar's newer gated communities and the older eastern neighborhoods price very differently — insurability and roof age are often the swing factors a generic agent skips.

Do you cover both West Miramar and East Miramar?
Yes — from the newer gated communities like Monarch Lakes and Riviera Isles to the established east side. The condition read matters more in one than the other, and we know the difference.
Why use a brokerage that also builds in Miramar?
You get an honest, in-house cost-to-cure and insurability read before you commit — and if you buy, the same company can do the work.
Can you check insurability before I make an offer?
Yes. Our trades give a wind-mitigation and condition read so your Miramar offer reflects the real building, not a hopeful guess.
Do you help Miramar sellers?
Yes — we list and sell across Miramar, and can complete resale-focused improvements in-house first.
